Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes Edinson Cavani will commit his future to Manchester United so he can experience the "different feeling" of scoring in front of a full Old Trafford.

Cavani produced his finest performance for the Red Devils on Thursday night with two goals and three assists in the 6-2 rout of Roma.

The Uruguayan's double takes his tally for the season to 12 goals, but he is yet to play in front of a full crowd at United's 75,000-seater home due to coronavirus restrictions.

In fact, the most supporters he has played in front of at Old Trafford is 2,000. Meanwhile, the 34-year-old appears keen to return to South America this summer rather than activate a one-year extension in his current contract.
