Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Paul Pogba was ruled out of Saturday's clash with West Brom after picking up an injury in training.
Rumours over the Frenchman's apparent lack of involvement in the Premier League meeting with the Baggies began to spread on Saturday after he wasn't spotted with the Manchester United squad in their pre-match meeting at the Lowry Hotel.
Pogba played for France in all three of their fixtures during the international break, featuring for just under an hour of the friendly defeat to Finland, and then playing the full 90 minutes of the Nations League wins over Portugal and Sweden.
Those appearances had raised hopes that Pogba could feature against West Brom after several fitness issues in the past year, but Solskjaer
