Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Nemanja Matic did not see eye to eye for much of the season after being frozen out of the first-team.
However, the Serbia international has been rejuvenated in recent weeks and has earned back a spot in the starting XI at Manchester United.
And it has led to talk over a new contract with Old Trafford chiefs in negotiations with his agent. At the beginning of the season, Matic was facing a crisis after failing to convince Solskjaer of a starting spot.
The likes of Fred, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay were all ahead of him in the pecking order. However, in recent weeks the former Chelsea star has fought back to earn a spot back in the side.
