Old Didsbury police station to be turned into flats

The former village police station, on Wilmslow Road, was closed down a number of years ago as the force began selling off properties to raise money for new stations.

Now the 100-year-old building has been bought by HUS Property Developments and planning applications have been approved to build six two-bedroom flats.

The new apartments will feature balconies and private rear gardens, as well as including some of the building’s original features such as the old police lamp.
