Two men have been arrested after a Land Rover rammed into a police car multiple times during a pursuit in Trafford earlier this afternoon.
At around 12.30pm on Tuesday (October 19), police officers in a marked vehicle on patrol in Taunton Road in Sale spotted a Land Rover make off at speed.
When the vehicle failed to stop for officers, police engaged in a pursuit. Read more: Pub shames 'pathetic' customers who refused to pay for food they'd already eaten The car proceeded to ram the police vehicle on Manor Avenue, before making off again.
The pursuit then continued onto Dartford Road in Urmston. The Land Rover then rammed the police car again, causing significant damage to the vehicle and a second parked vehicle.
