Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard. The striker has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season, inevitably catching the eye of clubs down south and on the continent.
According to the Daily Star Newcastle boss Steve Bruce has had a number of video conferences with the club's transfer team in recent weeks.
Edouard is said to have emerged as the top target in those meetings, though Alfredo Morelos is also being tracked by the club.
Bruce is said to be particularly interested in the Celtic striker after a glowing recommendation from his son. Alex Bruce spent a year at Kilmarnock and came up against Edouard, and has admitted that he recommended the France Under-21 international to his dad.
