'None for the road': Flat tyre check leads to drink-drive arrest

Traffic officers stopped a Mercedes that reportedly pulled out in front of a patrol car on Ashton Old Road on Wednesday night.

Officers said a flat tyre led to a spot check, and the driver gave a breath reading of 85. The alcohol limit for drivers is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
