The reality TV star, who first rose to fame back in 2006, saw the nation rally around her in the last few months of her life, as celebrity pals and family fought to try and save her from the heartbreaking illness.
The sad news has come as a shock to her nearest and dearest, who have suffered since Nikki was first diagnosed with the illness at the age of eight, which saw her in and out of hospitals until she was around 19.
Throughout her whole life she had battled with the eating disorder, which was spurred on by the separation of her parents and the death of her beloved grandfather when she was just a child.
