The Big Brother stars met in series seven of the show and enjoyed a romantic relationship as well as a close friendship since their time together in the show.
Nikki had a lifelong battle with anorexia and she was receiving treatment at a clinic in Dorchester after her condition worsened during lockdown.
Before entering the clinic, she sent a text to Pete which now sounds even more poignant after her hopes of battling the eating disorder were ultimately in vain.
