Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Gangs of feral youths prowled the streets of Niddrie on Bonfire Night aiming fireworks at residents, cars and an ambulance. Police, fire crews and paramedics were met with havoc in Edinburgh on Saturday night as masked bikers sped through the streets aiming pyrotechnics at cars and people at close range.

Shocking footage emerged from the ongoing disturbance shows balaclava-clad thugs aiming fireworks at groups of people standing at the side of the road.

Some of those on the street duck for cover as the rockets explode. Another video shows fireworks being set off in the street as cars brake to avoid the explosions.

It also appears to show thugs aiming the fireworks at an ambulance which has stopped in the middle of the road.A third video shows a make-shift bonfire alight in the middle of a road near a bus stop.One police vehicle which was drafted to the scene was struck with a bottle containing a flammable substance, too, but officers have confirmed that no damage was sustained and no injuries were reported.Members of the public are being urged to avoid the Niddrie area, and locals are being warned to stay in their homes as first responders continue to deal with the disturbing event.An Edinburgh Police Division spokesperson said: "Local officers working as part of #OpCrackle are being supported by specialist #OpMoonbeam resources following reports of various incidents including antisocial use of fireworks, a break-in to a shop and road blockages."A robust police presence will be in place to address the ongoing issues and keep the public safe.
