Nicola Sturgeon has already given the go-ahead for Hampden to house around 12,000 fans at all its scheduled Euro 2020 games this summer.
Leading officials at Scotland’s top clubs are now desperate to build on that in the face of worries they won’t be able to shift season books.
The First Minister Sturgeon told the country on Tuesday it could be down to Level 0 by late June and all restrictions lifted by the end of the summer – but failed to mention football specifically, further heightening fears our game will remain locked out.
