Nick Kyrgios once slammed fellow tennis professional Novak Djokovic as a ‘tool’ during a spat.The Aussie has reignited his feud with the world number one this week.
At a press conference, Kyrgios took aim at the star. He was asked by a reporter about his rivalry when he was seen copying Djokovic's trademark celebration.“We’re just having some fun,” he said. “Novak, I’m sure, doesn’t like me and we both have respect for each other, but I don’t like him at all, so it’s fun.” But it’s not the first time that the pair have locked horns.
Kyrgios had branded the Serb a ‘tool’ on Twitter after Djokovic voiced his anger over the treatment of players heading into the Australian Open, claiming that the organiser’s list of demands was too severe when they imposed the mandatory quarantine.
