New Yorker has fired a senior staff reporter who exposed himself to staff during a Zoom conference call. Jeffrey Toobin, 60, confirmed in a tweet that he had been sacked. “I was fired today by @NewYorker after 27 years as a Staff Writer.
I will always love the magazine, will miss my colleagues, and will look forward to reading their work,” he wrote on Wednesday.The writer, who is also a CNN legal analyst, had been suspended last month after Vice News broke the story.
