The Netflix relaunch of the bonkers 90s children’s show Teletubbies has an unlikely new star – Tituss Burgess of Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt fame.
The show, featuring the iconic foursome Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, is set to return to screens on November 14 with the American comedian and actor as its narrator.
The revival will see 26 new episodes all set in brightly coloured, weird Teletubbyland where the characters’ favourite snacks are served – tubby custard and tubby toast. Though Teletubbies didn't really have a storyline and the creatures made little sense or didn’t speak an actual language, it was still monumentally popular with children and adults alike.
