An expert has warned of the danger that can come with password-sharing on the streaming service Netflix.Earlier this week, UK customers were sent out an email advising them to check how their accounts are being used, stressing that a Netflix account should be for one household only.

Many people share a Netflix account with others who they don't live with, and the streaming service announced last year that it would begin clamping down on password sharing.

Now, Ceri Shaw, chief product officer at Scotland’s first and only SQA accredited digital skills academy CodeClan, who now offer cyber security training as part of their training portfolio, has highlighted why password sharing is a risk.

She says that there is a 'wider conversation' going on around cybersecurity that's constantly growing and evolving, thanks to new products and platforms being launched all the time.
