Netflix horror series has broken a Guinness world record for the most jump scares in a single episode with 21 in a single episode.

READ MORE: Jeffrey Dahmer series ‘Monster’ smashes Netflix records after leaving viewers sickened One of them dies and things get very creepy.In one episode the Horror series racks up a whopping 21 jump scares but strangely the creator Mike Hannigan has said in the past that he hates them.Flanagan said during the show's New York Comic Con panel: “My whole career I completely s**t on jump scares as a concept, and I wanted to make sure it was pinned to me, too, as much as it is to the show, to Netflix, and all of us who have inflicted this on everyone.“Now, I have my name in the Guinness Book of World Records for jump scares, which means next time I get the note, I can say, ‘You know, as the current world record holder for jump scares, I don’t think we need one here.’”The spooky show only landed on Netflix on Friday (7 October) but fans have already got stuck in and taken to Twitter to share their comments.
