Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Neil Lennon as the pair went head-to-head over Celtic's infamous Dubai trip. A total of 16 Parkhead players and staff were told to isolate after being identified as close contacts of Christopher Jullien following a mid-season training break.

Lennon was furious at the backlash he and his team received, giving a fiery press conference as he defended the decision to jet out to the Middle East.

And the former Celtic boss went head-to-head with Maxwell on the radio after the Irishman insisted protocols had constantly changed throughout the season.

The head of the SFA insisted that was not the case as Lennon pressed him over what measures the Scotland team had been taking before and after Billy Gilmour's positive test.
