Neighbours' shock as police flood quiet street after man, 25, stabbed

Neighbours have spoken of their shock after police flooded a quiet street in Prestwich following a stabbing. Several police and ambulance vehicles were scrambled to Kings Close just before 12.30pm today (Saturday).

GMP said a 25-year-old man was stabbed by another man at the scene. He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Neighbours spoke to the Manchester Evening News this afternoon as several police vehicles remained stationed on the quiet street.
