Nazi-obsessed Moors murderer Ian Brady 'may have buried victims in Swastika shape'

Moors Murderers, Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, are known to have killed five people in what is now Greater Manchester between July 1963 and October 1965.The news comes as police are digging on Saddlewoorth Moor for murder victim Keith Bennett after remains were found.READ MORE: Boy born with two faces due to 'Sonic the Hedgehog' gene defies odds and survivesThe possible remains were discovered by Russell Edwards, an author looking into the infamous killings that rocked the United Kingdom.Edwards has hypothesised that the Nazi-obsessed killer, who ­strangled his victims with string and buried them on Saddleworth Moor, could have been trying to create a Swastika with the burial sites.Greater Manchester Police have released an official statement detailing the situation but were quick to stress that nothing has been confirmed.As it stands, there is no confirmed connection between the find and the Moors Murderers and it was “ far too early to be certain whether human remains have been discovered”.However, the Mail reported that three independent experts have now identified remains at the site as being human, and probably 11 or 12-years-old according to dental analysis.

Force Review Officer Martin Bottomley said: “At around 11.25am on Thursday 29 September 2022, Greater Manchester Police was contacted by the representative of an author who has been researching the murder of Keith Bennett, a victim of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley."Following direct contact with the author, we were informed that he had discovered what he believes are potential human remains in a remote location on the Moors and he agreed to meet with officers yesterday afternoon to elaborate on his find and direct us to a site of interest.“The site was assessed late.
