BBC Breakfast star Naga Munchetty and Jon Kay were among those bidding farewell to one of their colleagues who quit the show last week.
Naga, 47, said colleague Kate Varley, who had been a producer and journalist on the BBC show for almost five years, would be "greatly missed".
Kate last week shared a group photo of her with her colleagues sitting on the famous red sofa. The photo showed a beaming Kate surrounded by presenters Naga, Charlie Stayt, 60, and Mike Bushell, 57.
Kate wrote: "Saying goodbye to this brilliant team this week. BBC Breakfast thanks for an incredible 4.5 years - I'll miss you!" She added: "Looking forward to new challenges at Morning Ireland (and finally moving back to Ireland after more than a decade away eeeks)".
