Dear Coleen I am very upset with my son and daughter-in-law because they spend loads of time with her parents while I hardly get a look in.
They moved near her parents three years ago, just after they had their first child, so his wife’s parents get to spend almost every day with my granddaughter, whereas I’m lucky to see her once every four months.
The past year has been especially tough for us all, because I’ve only been able to see my granddaughter on Zoom, while her other grandparents did doorstep visits all throughout lockdown and then they formed a childcare bubble as soon as they were able to.
