The Guild of Music Supervisors has announced the nominees for its 2021 awards celebrating achievement in music supervision in film, TV, games, advertising and trailers.
Jingle Jangle and The High Note each scored two nominations, with the former up for best music supervision for film budgeted over $25 million and the latter up for best music supervision for film budgeted under $25 million.
Both movies are up for best song written and/or recorded for a film with The High Note earning a nom for "Love Myself," which Tracee Ellis Ross performs, and Jingle Jangle earning a nom for "Make It Work," performed by Forest Whitaker and Anika Noni Rose.
