Princess Anne after she clearly enjoyed Eurovision star Sam Ryder's performance at the Platinum Party at the Palace concert.
Ryder, who came second in the recent Eurovision Song Contest with Space Man, has been hailed as the "new Freddie Mercury" after impressing fans with his "incredible" show at the London event yesterday (Saturday).The 32-year-old put on a dazzling display as he took to the stage in front of a 22,000-strong crowd at Buckingham Palace.
But it was the royal reaction to his performance that had Twitter users commenting, with her being one of several in the box to give a enthusiastic round of applause.
One user, referencing the Queen's daughter's love of horses, said: "Princess Anne looked impressed by Sam Ryder, which is an achievement.
