A murder probe has been launched after a woman found with stab injuries in an affluent London neighbourhood died in hospital.
The victim, 36, was discovered with wounds in East Dulwich on Friday night, police say. A man, 49, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
It is believed that both parties involved were known to each other, the Metropolitan Police said. Emergency services raced to a home in Lordship Lane, in the south-east of the city, at around 10:10pm, where they found the injured woman.
She was taken to hospital for treatment but died at 2:01am. Detectives are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Have you been affected by this incident?
