A lying mum took the rap for her daughter who flipped her car while more than five times the drink-drive limit. Paige Ingram, 25, was driving in Stoke on Trent when she hit the central reservation and flipped her Vauxhall Corsa while her mum Karen Ingram, 51, was in the passenger seat.
Both women falsely claimed that Karen was the one driving when the crash happened on the A500 last November, StokeonTrentLive reports.
When they breathalysed the mum Karen she gave a reading of 118 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - three-and-a-half times the legal limit.
