A mum whose daughter has a deadly nut allergy could face court if she trims her neighbour's walnut tree. Chantel Beck, 40, says the 55ft tree is a health risk to six-year-old Beau as walnuts fall from the overhanging branches into her garden in Trowse, Norfolk.
Ms Beck won permission to trim the tree in 2018 but the consent has since expired so following medical advice she applied again to reduce its size but it as rejected by South Norfolk Council.
The mum-of-two said her daughter had an anaphylactic shock after playing in the garden in 2019 which resulted in hives and she clutched her throat as her ears and lips swelled up.
