Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

He told me he was a builder, he had his own company and he had four or five lads working under him.“He said he had moved to Cork from Clare because he wanted to expand his business in Cork.“We were chatting away, I was thinking this guy really has a good head on his shoulders, and he was working in Douglas which is only about 20 minutes away from me.”Julie said she liked the guy because he was “always respectful” and never tried anything inappropriate.After some time chatting together, the man asked Julie out on a coffee date.She said she asked her mum to babysit the kids, and did her hair and makeup.The pair were supposed to meet at 4, so she texted him about three to ask what was going on after she hadn't heard anything.Julie said the guy apologised and said a wall had fallen down at work.“Alarm bells started ringing for me then," she said.
