prison visitor has been sentenced to jail after being caught red handed giving three types of drugs to an inmate. Lousia Carberry, 42, "embraced" the prisoner who then attempted to take a package from her waist band, North Wales Live reports.
However, the sneaky pair were quickly foiled as prison staff caught the incident on CCTV, with the pair swiftly separated and Carberry promptly arrested.
The mum-of-two pleaded guilty to three counts of conveying a List A item into a prison, including heroine, cocaine and cannabis.She was sentenced to 19 months jail time by a judge at Mold Crown Court.Prosecutor Dafydd Roberts told the court that Carberry visited the inmate at HMP Berwyn on November 5, 2019.He stated: "She made her way through security.
