Brits are known for our love of a good holiday, eager to escape the dreary weather and enjoy a change of scenery. However, holidays don't always go as smoothly as planned, and what should be a relaxing getaway can quickly become a stressful ordeal. This was the case for TikTok user @itsmamnotmum, who shared her unsettling experience while on holiday in Antalya, Turkey.
In a video, she claimed: "A stranger came into our room last night. We are on holiday in Turkey and, at 10.30pm last night we were all sound asleep, and someone came into our room."She continued: "So, I have a six month old, as you can see, we've got a two year old.
Me an my husband on holiday and a member of staff, it turns out to be, holding a bottle of water, was in our room."Now, they did knock once, and they let themselves in straight away, without even waiting for someone to open the door.
Holding a bottle of water, standing there."The situation left them baffled as their fridge had already been restocked that day, so there was no need for anyone to return, especially not at night. In reflection, she admitted she was uncertain if she was "overreacting" or if others would share her concern.
