vengeful mum-of-three attempted to destroy the life of a leading lawyer by threatening her with posting an “intimate video” and drug allegations after she started a relationship with her ex-boyfriend.Kayleigh Gordon, 32, blackmailed Beth Mantel - a friend of Chelsea footballer Danny Drinkwater - with alleged footage of her with businessman Richard Buggy.She claimed that she would release it on social media, while also emailing her Manchester-based law firm to falsely claim that she was taking drugs.READ MORE: Birmingham explosion: Neighbour of destroyed house says 'toilet break saved my life'Victim Ms Mantel told Warrington Magistrates Court this week that she was “embarrassed” about the email – as it was sent to her entire office.She recalled: “Things were said which were disgusting, false and hurtful.“The allegations could have ruined my reputation that had taken 10 years to build.“I had to call my new workplace and tell them that there may be an email and what it would say.“It was humiliating - I had only worked there for a few weeks and I was worried that they would look at me differently.”Cheshire-based Gordon pleaded guilty to two charges of sending by a public communication network an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message and was ordered to pay Miss Mantel and Mr Buggy £100 each in damages.The row stemmed from a party that Mr Buggy took his and Gordon's child to, which Ms Mantel was also in attendance.Her being there angered Gordon, who then embarked on a campaign of abuse against her.Gordon told Mr Buggy that she was was in possession of an intimate video involving him and Ms Mantel, which she threatened to post on Facebook.Simon Green prosecuting said: "I should say that Ms Mantel is a solicitor..
