Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Ella Halliday tragically fell from the Irwell Chambers building, on Union Street in Liverpool, at around 10.40pm on June 1. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the 18-year-old sadly died at the scene, the Liverpool Echo reports. Merseyside Police confirmed he will face no further action. An inquest into Ms Halliday's 'unexplained death' has been opened at a coroners' court.
