Mrs Brown's Boys star confirms show return after fans begged for BBC axe

Mrs Brown's Boys star Fiona O'Carroll has confirmed the show will return for the first time in nearly 10 years. The BBC show has been off screens for nearly ten years and will be making a comeback this year even after fans have begged for it not to return.

Mrs Brown's Boys return was due to return earlier this year but production was put on hold due to scheduling difficulties and covid delays. And we're planning more theatre dates for next year."At the start of the year, viewers begged the BBC to "cancel" Mrs Brown's Boys as they tuned in to the New Year's Day episode."Literally the worst show ever – cancel it," one person said.While another, referencing covid, said: "Sooner catch Happy New Year's Omicron than watch Mrs Brown's Boys!"A third said: "2022 was going so well but Mrs Brown's Boys has just come on!"Previously, Fiona spoke about how the team were struggling to get the show off the ground.She said: "Well, you know what this industry is like.

There is lots of talk and lots of talk and until it is happening you will never really know."The actress continued: "We were supposed to be doing a mini series this year but, unfortunately, due to various different reasons it didn't happen.
