MP urges Prime Minister to back Acquired Brain Injury Bill

East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow MP, Dr Lisa Cameron, urged the Prime Minister to back an Acquired Brian Injury Bill.

She visited Downing Street along with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) charities this week urging the Prime Minister to back Chris Bryant MP's Acquired Brain Injury Private Members' Bill, which hopes to receive its second reading in the House of Commons on December 3.A cross-party coalition of over 200 MPs, Acquired Brain Injury charities, survivors and other providers have signed a letter urging the PM to commit Government to preparing and publishing a strategy to meet the needs of all children and adults with an ABI.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
