Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Moussa Dembele trolls Rangers as Celtic favourite delivers 'some things never change' message after Lyon win

Moussa Dembele stuck the boot into Rangers after his side ran out 2-0 winners in their Europa League group opener at Ibrox. The former Celtic man had a habit of scoring against their city rivals in the derby, and much of the build-up focused on his return to Glasgow.

However, Dembele was ruled out of the game with his OL team-mates putting Steven Gerrard 's side to the sword in his absence.

Though he was at home in France the forward couldn't resist getting a little dig in at his former rivals, taking to Twitter to send a message to Rangers fans.
