Perth motorist ran a red light and then repeatedly swerved across both lanes on the busy A94, near Scone, causing several other drivers to take evasive action to avoid a smash.
And when 30-year-old Dean Stirton, of Leslie Court, was later pulled over by officers in Scone’s Abbey Road, his speech was slurred - and his eyes were glazed.
The catalogue of dangerous driving led to Sheriff Alison Michie jailing him for a total of six months at Perth Sheriff Court.
He was also disqualified from driving for four years.He admitted driving dangerously on several local roads and repeatedly swerving into the path of oncoming vehicles on June 22, 2020.
