Motorcyclist dies following crash which closed A77 in Ayrshire

dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire for several hours last night.The 60-year-old man was travelling north around 6.15pm near Harelaw Farm, Fenwick.Police say the bike appeared to lose control and subsequently left the carriageway.The road was closed for some time as collision investigation work was carried out.
One eyewitness told Ayrshire Live that several police vehicles were in the area.Emergency services attended but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene; his family has been notified of what has happened.An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
