Pokémon card collectors could strike gold if they decide to sell off their treasures, with a new study highlighting the value of these nostalgic collectables.
CSGOLuck's latest research shows that Charizard cards top the value charts, fetching up to a whopping £16,000 for a single card.
A representative from CSGOLuck commented: "While it will come as no surprise to fans of the franchise that Charizard ranked first, it's astonishing to see just how much more valuable the character's cards were in comparison to others." They further noted: "The fact that the face of the franchise, Pikachu, has over triple the number of cards in circulation than Charizard demonstrates just how popular and iconic the fire-breathing Pokémon is." For collectors unsure about the worth of their own cards, advice from a savvy Reddit user comes in handy: "Each card is from a specific set.
