BabyCentre have been sharing their annual list of the names chosen most by mums and dads over the last 12 months. Thousands of parents have been visiting the site to register their baby name choices and they've collected all the data to unveil the top 100 for boys and girls.
And there are a few surprises in store, reports the Mirror. For the first time in three years Olivia has been knocked off the number one girls' spot.Instead, Sophia has taken first place, with Olivia in second and Amelia in third.For the boys, Muhammad remains the most popular name for another year, followed by Noah and Oliver.Several new names made it into the top 100 this year, including Ayaan, Ronnie, Rowan, Austin, Jasper, Hudson, Milo, Albert and Ellis all.
