Most Mancunians are in favour of wearing masks on public transport and in shops to tackle the new Omicron variant, according to a new survey.

Contacts with Omicron cases will now have to isolate, even if double jabbed, and people entering the UK will have to take PCR tests and isolate until they receive a negative result.
