More than 3000 children benefit from South Lanarkshire Council's summer activities

iOS - Android The Sensational Summer Sessions were aimed at helping to improve the wellbeing of children.Chairwoman of the education resources committee, Councillor Katy Loudon, said: “I am immensely proud of the work that went in to ensuring young people had a variety of activities and events to take part in during the summer holiday period.

The feedback we have received so far has been overwhelmingly positive.“It’s reassuring to know that the summer programme went some way to helping those young people who needed it most.

The range of activities on offer was first class.”Government funding allowed the sessions to include kids aged 12 to 17 and their families.
