The moment the 300ft structures were brought to the ground on Sunday morning was captured on camera as crowds gathered to watch.
The cooling towers can be seen for miles around and have been a Yorkshire landmark for 50 years. READ MORE: Each tower contains around 11,000 tonnes of reinforced concrete.
The coal-fired Eggborough power station was decommissioned in 2018 and the demolition of four of the eight towers on the site has taken place as part of a plan to redevelop the site.
