He wrote about how his newborn son had tragically died, with him taking time out of football when he missed Man Utd's match against Liverpool on Tuesday.
He wrote in an Instagram post signed by both him and his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away.
