This is the moment 20 family members of a Covid victim attacked a young doctor outside an Indian hospital over suspicions that he died due to a delay in oxygen.

The medic, identified locally as 25-year-old Dr Siddhant Totla, had been treating a 65-year-old man with suspected Covid-19 in an ambulance on the way to hospital.

He was reportedly surrounded by the victim's relatives and set upon with objects including a metal pole in front of horrified witnesses.

Sources claim the family members believed that the death happened due to a delay in providing oxygen. But the doctor said the patient had passed away before he could be admitted to Prime Hospital in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
