Molly-Mae Hague has been rapped by advertising watchdogs for failing to make sure that a giveaway on her Instagram was fair.
The Love Island 2019 star, 21, had shared the post with her 5.1million followers which offered a £8,000 value prize. The giveaway had included Apple products, Louis Vuitton luggage, and goods from her own tanning range, and was conducted to celebrate her reaching a million YouTube subscribers back in September 2020.
The decision against Molly-Mae was upheld after 12 people believed that not all entrants were included in the final draw of her giveaway and took their complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
