Molly-Mae Hague has been forced to delete an Instagram post as fans blasted her as “tone deaf”. The former Love Island star, 22, has recently been celebrating her success after announcing her new role as creative director of clothing brand PrettyLittleThing.
And on Thursday evening, Molly took to Instagram Stories to share a now-deleted quote. It read: “Don’t call me lucky if I am working while you are sleeping.” But the star was met with criticism, with many urging Molly to “read the room”. “So tone deaf it made me cringe,” one person wrote.
Another said: “We’re in a global pandemic, girl.They’re definitely people who work twice and hard for half as much while risking their lives.
