Mobile COVID-19 test centres to open at three South Ayrshire locations this week

South Ayrshire this week.Mobile test centres will be in place in Girvan, Maybole and Troon.The temporary facilities provide another way for people without access to cars to book appointments.Tests must be booked in advance at: https://www.nhsinform.scot/test-and-protect or by calling 0800 028 2816.The centres will operate as follows: •Troon Swimming Pool – Thursday, January 28 from 10am to 6pm•The Quay Zone, Knockcushan Street, Girvan – Friday, January 29 from 10am to 6pm•Carrick Academy, Maybole – Saturday, January 30 from 10am to 6pmIf you’re attending the mobile testing centre, you’ll be asked to confirm your identity on arrival.You will then be issued with a test kit and directed to a testing booth, where you will be given guidance to.
