Runner by day, a defender by night.” One Twitter user laughed: “Pitch invader caught by Mo Farah.“Of all the people in the world you’d try and run past, Mo Farah wouldn’t be top of my list.” The athlete played well for England as a right-back, despite not looking entirely comfortable with the ball at his feet.Though many will dub his stewarding work as his best moment of the match.
The World XI lifted the Soccer Aid trophy on the night, winning the match on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.For England, TV star Mark Wright and pop star Tom Grennan were on the scoresheet for Harry Redknapp’s side.
