In a sign that movie studios will continue to focus on streaming in a post-pandemic world, Paramount Plus has announced it's shortening the amount of time its movies will be in theatres only.The highly anticipated films Mission: Impossible 7, Top Gun: Maverick and a Quiet Place Part II will all become available digitally 45 days after opening in cinemas.Not only that, but most other Paramount movies will debut on the streamer just 30 days after starting their theatrical runs.The decision is regarded as a huge boost for the ViacomCBS-owned subscription streaming service which launches on March 4 to replace CBS All Access.
