Paisley man.Officers from Police Scotland confirmed they discovered a body at around 2.40pm today in the woods near Bridge of Weir.Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of David Letham, reported missing earlier today, has been informed.The 31-year-old was last seen at around 3.30am this morning in Paisley as police launched an extensive search for him.Police confirmed to the Daily Record that his disappearance at the time was also linked to a major incident in Bridge of Weir where a car plunged into the River Gryfe.Fire crews, paramedics and a police dog unit were called to water near Hattrick Farm, Bridge of Weir, at 10.22am today.The death is not being treated as suspicious but enquiries are currently ongoing to.
