Super agent Mino Raiola has hailed the victory over salary caps as "justice being served." The Professional Footballers' Association won a legal case to scrap EFL salary caps in League One and Two which has also stopped them being implemented in the future in the Championship.
The players' union, players and agents were bitterly opposed to the rules which were championed by the EFL as a way of trying to control spending especially because of the financial implications of the pandemic.
But Raiola, who has a stellar list of clients including Manchester United star Paul Pogba, insists it would have been nothing short of a "disaster" for the long term interests of the game.
